called Adobe Customer Support who deleted my activation, but then when I tried to reactivate, I got the same error as you guys did. After a lot of troubleshooting, we figured it out, we moved my ebooks out into a new folder on the desktop, then uninstalled and reinstalled Reader 6.01.
